Adi was born in Israel. She studied singing in the Conservatorio regional de Vila nova de Gaia, Portugal, where she got her diploma in operatic singing. Currently she studies with the renowned soprano Patrizia Morandini in Florence, Italy. Adi sang ?with the Philharmonic chorus accompanied by the Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra directed by the renowned maestro Zubin Mehta in a concert production of Puccini's Tosca in 2004 in Menn Auditorium in Tel Aviv. She also sang Bela Bartok's Der Wunderbar Mandarin with the same chorus in Haifa Auditorium and ICC Jerusalem International Convention Center the same year. ?In 2006 and 2007 she sang the role of second dame in Mozart's Magic Flute in the Gaia's municipal auditorium. In 2007 she also sang the role of Mother in Menotti's Amahl and the night visitors (Portuguese version). During 2010 she took part in a few concerts organized by Florence Opera and in 2011 she sang the role of Mamma Lucia in Mascagni's Cavalleria rusticana in Empoli, Italy. Apart from opera she is familiar with religious repertoire (masses and oratories) and she also sang as a soloist in Mozart's requiem in 2008. |
